Electives - Tailor Programs to Meet Your Needs

Electives are an integral and highly popular part our student centred approach to learning, emphasizing individual needs and the role of the student in the learning process. They allow students to tailor their programs to meet their individual needs, providing both program focus and flexibility.
While our morning periods (1 to 4) focus on developing core common skills our afternoon periods (5 to 7) allow students to tailor their program to meet their own specific needs through General and Specialized Electives. or Workshops. Both are
General Electives: General Electives are offered at all learning levels (more options for higher levels) and on different topics. They focus primarily on developing
Students may select different ones each week.
Specialized Workshops: provide intensive, concentrated studies for higher level students looking to learn English for business, hospitality, specific fields (such as aviation or medicine), exams (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS) or higher education. They are offered in periods 5 to 7, Monday through Thursday. Focussed Courses require pre-registration. See page 9 for a list of Focussed Courses.

- Course Intensity: Electives are not standalone programs. They must be combined with a program (Core English, Focus On Communication or Exam Preparation) at 24, 28 or 32 lessons per week.
