Conestoga College

From our humble early beginnings as a community college in 1967, Conestoga has risen to become one of Canada’s premier polytechnic institutes. We offer advanced applied education, and research leading to the commercialization of innovation in southwestern Ontario. Fleming College

Fleming College, also known as Sir Sandford Fleming College, is an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology located in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. The college has an enrollment of more than 6,800 full-time and 10,000 part-time students.

Fleming College features more than 100 full-time programs in Arts and Heritage, Business, Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences, General Arts and Sciences, Health and Wellness, Justice and Community Development, Skilled Trades and Technology, and Continuing Education.

Fleming College is noted for its excellence in environmental and natural resources sciences as well as unique programs in business, museum management and cultural heritage, and social services. It also offers a number of post-graduate diplomas in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Aquaculture, and Environmental Visual Communication. As well, Fleming College has a Computer Security and Investigations program, which is one of only three related programs in Canada.

Georgian College 

Georgian College is a College of Applied Arts and Technology in Ontario, Canada. It has 13,000 full-time students, including 4,500 international students from 85 countries, across seven campuses, the largest being in Barrie.

Georgian College offers academic upgrading, apprenticeship training, certificate, diploma, graduate certificate, college degree and university programs (including combined degree-diplomas) and part-time studies in such areas such as automotive business, business and management, community safety, computer studies, design and visual arts, engineering technology and environmental studies, health, wellness and sciences, hospitality, tourism and recreation, human services, Indigenous studies, liberal arts, marine studies, and skilled trades.^[6]

Holland College is the provincial community college for the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island (PEI). It is named after British Army engineer and surveyor Captain Samuel Holland. Mohawk College

Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology is a public college of applied arts and technology located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. It has three main campuses: the Fennell Campus on the Hamilton Mountain, the Stoney Creek Campus in Stoney Creek, and the Mohawk-McMaster Institute for Applied Health Sciences at McMaster University. Located on 140 acres in Charlottetown, the birthplace of Confederation, the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) has a rich history with roots in two founding institutions: Prince of Wales College (est. 1834) and St. Dunstan’s University (est. 1855). UPEI honours this proud legacy through a growing reputation for research innovation and academic excellence.

UPEI’s four faculties (arts, education, science, and veterinary medicine) and two schools (business and nursing) offer a wide range of programs and degrees to approximately 4,400 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students. All Seneca programs are created with input from employers to ensure that students are expertly prepared for their future careers. The teaching methodologies used by Seneca’s faculty include collaborative and cooperative learning, discovery-based learning, engaged learning, problem-solving learning, and real world case study explorations.

Many of Seneca’s programs include co-op or field placement. Co-op education programs give students the opportunity to integrate academic learning with paid, practical work experience. Students normally complete at least two academic terms prior to their first paid work term.

Facilities

Seneca is known for its outstanding facilities, which include a health centre, a physiotherapy clinic, fitness centres, a sports centre including an ice rink, bookstores, a fashion store, computer stores, cafeterias, coffee shops, restaurants, libraries, , computer labs and 2 modern on-campus residences.

Seneca’s services are also exemplary and include an international student services office, free health insurance with on-campus health centres, tutoring and academic advisement.

St. Lawrence College

The college has approximately 6,700 full-time students and 20,000 part-time registrants in 89 academic programs and employs 829 full- and part-time staff; this includes 414 faculty.

St. Lawrence College has received accreditation to offer Baccalaureate Degree programs in the following areas:^[5]

• Bachelor of Business Administration (in partnership with Laurentian University)
• Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Psychology

KPI (Key Performance Indicators) Annual Results for April 2017 indicate the following statistics for St. Lawrence College:^[6]

• 100% of employers were satisfied with the quality of the educational preparation of St. Lawrence College graduates.
• 86.5% of SLC graduates found employment within six months of graduation.
• 84.5% of graduates were satisfied with the usefulness of their SLC education in achieving their goals after graduation.
• 80% of students were satisfied with the overall quality of services, programming and resources available to them at SLC.
