A typical apartment includes bedding, towels, a futon or pullout bed chesterfield in the living room, a dining area or room with 4 or 6 chairs. Many have a study area with a desk, chair and lamp. The kitchen has fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, pots and pans, plates, silverware, glasses, cups, basic cooking utensils, etc. There is an ironing board and iron and a hair dryer. Each apartment has original photos on the walls, taken by your host. Busses are just outside and it is a 5 to 10 minute bus ride to the subway station.
